The Association for German Education in Calgary (AGEC) supports, promotes and integrates quality German language programs and cultural activities in Calgary.

Founded in 1980, the Austrian mixed choir Heimatecho performs traditional Austrian music at community events, seniors' residences, and club functions. New members are always welcome. Rehearsals take place every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

The Association for English-German Bilingual Education of Edmonton (AEGBEE) is a group of parent volunteers, principals and teachers from our 5 German Bilingual schools, as well as guest representation from Die Kleine Kinderschule, German Language advisor (German Central Agency for Schools Abroad/ZfA, Alberta Education), and EPSB language consultants. The association strategically and financially supports the German Bilingual Program in Edmonton (K-12), one of the few German programs in Canada which lead to the internationally recognized Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD) language proficiency exams.

We have been in existence since 1971 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Our organization preserves the German tradition of folk dance and also provides an atmosphere of fun and Gemütlichkeit for its members.

In operation since the 1980s, Die Kleine Kinderschule (DKK) is a registered non-profit organization and licensed preschool that teaches in both English and German. Our dedicated teachers provide a friendly, nurturing environment for children ages 3-5 years with familiar routines, songs, crafts, stories and free play indoors and out. DKK places as much importance on social development as on academic achievement. We also offer involvement without in-class duty days and no obligatory fundraising. A centre to preserve and promote the heritage and culture of all persons of German Language origin living in Edmonton and Alberta… dedicated to the preservation of the German language and the variety of people speaking German, their various lifestyles, cultures, sports and history… to provide facilities for the membership, for meetings and social events on the official basis and leisure time gatherings of individuals for relaxation and friendship.

Männerchor Liederkranz, formed in 1962 in Edmonton, Canada, is a men's choir dedicated to preservation of German musical culture in our community. We participate in social events in the German Community, in song at the Kaffeeklatch, German Days, and at other German festive occasions. We represent our club to the larger community in Edmonton by singing at hospitals and continuing care homes, Alberta’s Legislature, and at a number of church services during the Christmas season.

The principal goal of the Johann Strauss Foundation is to encourage and support young musicians from Alberta, who wish to continue and further their advanced studies of music in the cultural environment of Austria.

Since its beginnings in 1951, the Viktoria Soccer Club has grown to become, as recognized by many, the finest soccer facility in Alberta.

The aim of the Society shall be to foster the heritage and culture of people from German-speaking countries within the framework of Canadian society, through social, cultural and educational activities.
